[personal profile] dulcedemon

Before my immune system went catastrophically haywire at the end of my teens, I ate and drank whatever I wanted. I did a lot of underage drinking, which I was not proud of at the time, but had I known then what I know now, I would have done a lot more of it.
I thought it might be fun to share a list of the beers I had managed to try before beer was forbidden by my doctor:

My very first beer:
Ballantine

The beer I drank the most, because it was what the over 21 of my peer group bought the most often, because it was so cheap:
Schmidt's

The beer that same peer group drank when I had the money to pay for it:
Foster's

Beers I drank so I wouldn't have to share with anyone:
Colt 45
Yuengling Porter
Yuengling Black & Tan

Beers I've loved:
Moosehead
Molson Golden
Molson Canadian Lager
Beck's
Labatt's
Yuengling Porter
Yuengling Black & Tan
Löwenbräu
Bass Ale + Guinness Stout[after I had turned 21 and could drink in bars]

Neutral Beers:
Michelob
Molson Ice
Mickey's "Big Mouth"
Killian's
Yuengling Golden Lager
Rolling Rock

Beers I've hated:
Budweiser
Heineken
Old Milwaukee
Coors
Coors Light
Piels
Miller
Busch

The smoothest beers I've ever had:
Moosehead
Molson Golden

The beer I can drink now:
Red Bridge GF
